Bill Carpenter

Attorney

Bill Carpenter is our senior Colorado Estate Planning associate. He’s been with the firm since 1997 and has worked with thousands of our clients helping them plan and settle their estates. Bill’s undergraduate major in business administration from the University of Washington gives him a great foundation to help clients sort out the details of the business of planning.

After graduating from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1976, he worked as a District Attorney prosecuting a wide variety of felonies and misdemeanors. Bill loves the fact that he is free of the trial-court environment and can help Denver families plan from a non-adversarial platform.

A former national gymnastic champion, an avid runner and a double black-diamond skier, Bill is an amazing physical specimen and the kind of lawyer you hope you could find. We are proud to have Bill Carpenter as a member of The Hughes Law Firm.
