Laurie Wert

Attorney

Laurie Wert has been with The Hughes Law Firm since 2000. Before joining The Hughes Law Firm, she worked in several positions concentrating in tax law, bankruptcy, litigation and related fields. Since Laurie received her Masters degree in taxation from the University of Denver College of Law, she has concentrated her practice in the fields of estate planning, Colorado elder law and probate administration.

As a Pi Phi from the University of Denver, where she graduated in 1979, and a scholastic star at DU’s law school, where she graduated in 1982, Laurie has developed into a well-rounded attorney, mother and avid international traveler. When she’s not off to some exotic destination, she’s busy keeping up with her college kids, her husband Brian, and her investment club cronies.
