Chris Gordon

Denver, Colorado

Chris is an estate planning attorney who loves helping families get their ducks in a row. As a high school student, Chris lost his father to Lou Gehrig’s disease. Even at a young age, and perhaps especially then, he could see how his mother and siblings benefitted from his parents' planning to get their affairs in order.

Since deciding to become an attorney, estate planning has been his desire, and he’s grateful to have been doing so for nearly all his career. Chris took his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University to the University Of Denver Sturm College Of Law. After dabbling in various areas of law, Chris quickly found his way into the estate planning world and most recently found his home at the Hughes Law Firm, P.C., in 2014.

A father of four small children, active in the community and in his church, Chris has served clients of all ages in the areas of estate planning, probate and elder law. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the ALS Association (Lou Gehrig's disease), is the vice chair of the Denver Chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society (a faith-based service and educational organization of attorneys of all kinds), and administers his congregation’s program for teenage boys and young men.
