Michael earned his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University where he majored in international relations with a minor in business.  He received his law, masters of business administration, and a masters of law in taxation degrees from the University of Denver.

Michael’s practice focuses on elder law, estate planning, probate, guardianships and conservatorships, and Medicaid planning, although he has also practiced in the areas of bankruptcy, and tax law.  After over 20 years in practice, Michael has learned to explain things in simple terms so clients leave informed, not confused.

Michael is admitted to practice in Colorado, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, and the U.S. Tax Court. In his free time he enjoys skiing, both downhill and cross-country, and has been known to do some Olympic weightlifting.
