Briana earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Soviet Studies from the University of Colorado – Boulder. She moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked for the Committee on Energy and Commerce Counsel’s Office in the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as the Foreign Affairs and National Defense Division of the Congressional Research Service editing proposed legislation and non-partisan research papers provided to members of Congress.
After her stint in D.C., her interest in the law brought her back to Colorado where she graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law. During law school, she was on the Dean’s List and a finalist in the Appellate Argument Competition.
Unfortunately, Briana had to learn early about the shock of sudden loss, when at seventeen-years of age, her father suddenly, tragically passed away. She understands losing a family member or close friend, whether with advance warning or not, is an emotional and stressful ordeal. Briana appreciates the opportunity to help her clients navigate the complicated and confusing area of estate administration with sincere compassion.
In her spare time, Briana enjoys spending time with her three grown sons, when they are willing to indulge her, photography, as well as traveling. For her last trip, she spent a month in Russia taking classes at the European University of St. Petersburg.
